» Risen is a World of Warcraft guild on the Proudmoore server.

Started by a group of friends who began playing early in the Closed Beta, we're an end-game raiding guild with a small roster of highly skilled, high attendance members.

While we do raid at the very highest level available, and do expect a high level of skill and teamwork from members, we do not raid with the very high frequency of the more hardcore guilds. Our raid schedule is only 12 hours - made up of two 6 hour raids on Friday evening and Sat afternoon (USA times). We acknowledge that many skilled, intelligent players also have commitments outside of WoW and despite our brief raid window we are a successful guild with a string of server-firsts in vanilla WoW (C'Thun, Razuvious, Noth, Anub'Rhekan, Faerlina).

Our legacy of success continued through the Burning Crusade expansion, where we finished Black Temple before Sunwell Plateau was released. In Sunwell Plateau, we were a raiding weekend away from defeating Kil'jaeden (the final boss) when the 3.0 patch along with huge nerfs came, and finished Sunwell to end TBC as the 3rd most progressed guild on the server.

We have once again proven ourselves competent as we ripped through Wrath of the Lich King content, claiming the server first clear of Naxxramas and Thorim and Mimiron in Ulduar (25 man). Our optional 10 man runs have proven to be successful as well, as we claimed the server first clear of heroic The Trial of the Crusader, as well as server first A Tribute to Insanity (zero wipes).

We are largely a mature guild and frown upon l33t speak, people with no teamwork skills and those unable to take a joke or two at their own expense without throwing a hissy fit.
